When buying an apartment, we consider if the space fits our needs, so why not think the same way about public transportation? Today’s bus experience assumes all passengers have the exact needs, often driving people away from using it.

 

Our project suggests a more personalized approach. On transportation apps, users could reserve a spot based on their travel needs, like workspace, storage, or privacy, and view real-time crowding levels. Even without a reservation, passengers would benefit from a smart floor and sensors that guide them to available standing space, similar to a parking system.
